Sunday July 10, 6pm. £13.50. £11.50 Festival Friends

A Newark Book Festival event.

The Kanneh-Masons are seven Nottingham-based siblings who are classically trained musicians, ranging in age from 12 to 25 years old, all of whom play either violin, piano or cello. As a family, they've played the Royal Variety Performance in 2019 and their first album, 'Carnival', received the Global Award for Best Classical Artist in 2021. We are delighted to welcome Kadiatu, Aminata and Konya back to Newark to share an evening of their wonderful music with us. In addition, Kadiatu, winner of the J.M Barrie Award and The Royal Philharmonic Society Storytelling Award, will be in-conversation about House of Music, her memoir about her remarkable family with our interviewer Tim Rideout.
